About The Stable

Thanks for coming to visit and I hope you enjoy your tour of the farm. Blue Star Stables started our relocation to central Louisiana at the beginning of 2003 due to realism issues. The stable is now loacted on 140 beautiful acres in central Louisiana. BSS is a proud member of Express Racing and our goal is to become a premier force in the Quarter Horse Industry of The Express.

In order to keep our farm realistic we have created a system of rolls based off of research and other farm's systems for breeding and racing. These rolls will be used from now on. To see these roll charts please click here.

In addition, each horse will come with their genetic color codes. As I am still a beginner at genetics if you notice any issues with the sires/dams please let me know. When real horses are used their color will be approximated off of their lineage.

Our Training Facilities consist of a newly developed track which is 1/2 mile long, a state of the art pool which all of our horses make use of, and many other amenities.

We currently have 4 barns on the property besides the Quarantine Barn which is off limits. They are:

-Training Barn- All of our current racers reside in the Training Barn when they are home from races. To see the horses and their race records please click here.
-Yearling Barn- Our yearling barn is home to the yearlings on the farm. The barn consists of 50 stalls and can be visited here.
-Stud Barn- The stud barn currently consists of 10 stalls though it only houses two stallions. To visit the stallion barn click here.
-Broodmare Barn- The broodmare barn consists of 40 regular stalls and 10 foaling stalls. To visit our growing herd of broodmares click here.
-Quarentine Barn- The barn consists of 5 stalls and is located towards the edge of the farm. Visitors are not allowed in this barn.

Disclaimer: All horses on these pages are paper ponies. None of them are real. Real horses in pedigrees are designated with a -r. Thank you.
